Don’t be afraid!



EXHORTATION through the BOOK of LIFE

Scriptures to ponder on:

“Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them.”

                                     SAVIOR IS WITH YOU * 🕊️🤺

Reading the passage above, we notice that God did not stand out of the fire, but that He was in the fire with His three friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, when they were thrown inside the furnace for defying King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. There is really no other god who can save like our God.

Whatever the circumstances in which you may be, know that our Lord Jesus is the fourth man who today lives in you in the midst of what you endure.

Don't you like the way the Word of God describes the three friends when they came out of the furnace? They were in the fire, but he had absolutely no power over them. It didn't even leave them a trace of smoke! This is a beautiful image of God's divine protection and deliverance! Our Lord does not deliver you from afar. HE is in you in the midst of your adversity. Summon Him and HE will answer you. When Jesus is with you, nothing can harm you!

For Daniel and his friends, HE was outside, but Jesus was very close to them. Because of the perfect work accomplished by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, you and I have passed through death and our life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). By growing up to cultivate His presence daily it will allow you to grow in your identity. Thus, the challenges will no longer have any power over you. The only smell on you will be the perfume of the Lord Jesus (2 Corinthians 2: 14).

This brings us a whole new meaning when we read this instruction from God: "Be strong and brave! Do not be afraid, do not let yourself be frightened by them: the Lord, your God, walks himself with you; he will not abandon you, he will not abandon you. Deuteronomy 31:6).

While the people around you are witnesses of how the Lord delivers you, may they know His wonderful name and give Him glory. Instead of being negatively affected by any ordeal you may encounter, I pray that you receive honor and promotion, just like Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego in the name of Jesus!
