EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE

Scripture to ponder on:

“And Jesus having come forth, saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion upon them, and did heal their infirm;”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14‬:‭14‬ ‭YLT98‬‬

COMPASSION

Compassion is the very motive for God’s salvation through the work accomplished by His beloved Son to save us: “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,”

1 Thessalonians 5:9 and “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23

Compassion is therefore an act motivated by love; Without expecting anything in return, but rather equipping the recipient with the resources they need, so that they never return to their initial situation but become a blessing (God's outstretched hand to the victims of Satan).

God has saved us and blessed us with every blessing for our good in the heavenly realms in Christ (Ephesians 1:3) and has given us the Holy Spirit to enable us to access His blessings and call them into manifestation, for the dominion that the first Adam lost is restored to us by the last Adam (Jesus Christ). “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God” (Colossians 3:1).

Unfortunately, ignorance of this truth, orchestrated by the enemy, leads some to chase after worldly riches and live in a vicious cycle where there is never enough. Or else, with abundance in the world, they end up in hell, and everything they leave behind after death is squandered in endless struggles among their heirs.

We will give you the foundations of your prosperity; You are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), you are righteous before God (2 Corinthians 5:21 ). Christ has redeemed you from the curse (Galatians 3:13/Ephesians 1:7). You died to sin and by His stripes you have been healed (1 Peter 2:24/Isaiah 53:5). He became poor so that He can give you the grace to become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). The floodgates of heaven are open to you (Malachi 3:10-12/Hebrews 7:8).

This devotion is to help you dispel all misconceptions about Christian prosperity. With the start of the school year approaching, don't just worry about your own family; look around you and let compassion guide you to be a blessing to a child or a family.

Jesus’ beloved !
