Divine Family Protection
God is a good Father who cares for His children (Deuteronomy 32:39/Psalm 121:7) and wants us to cooperate with Him to manifest His rich promises in our lives (Numbers 14:28). It is the duty of every Christian to recognize God's daily protection for their family.
On the night of the deliverance of God's people from Egypt, He gave precise instructions, and that very night the people were delivered. “And he brought them out with silver and gold, and there was no one lame among their tribes.” Psalm 105:37
Today we have the Blood of Jesus, “and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than Abel.” Hebrews 12:24
On that night of deliverance, each head of household used a brush made of wood to apply the blood to the lintel and the edges of the door. In the New Testament, your tongue is the brush, and the word of your mouth conforms to the word of God, which is the Blood of Jesus and every promise of the Christian life.
Let's put this into practice.
Before sunrise, declare Psalm 91 (personalized version), then declare: "I cover my family with the Blood of Jesus." You can name them one by one. During the day, whenever you consistently feel one of your children returning to your heart or a relationship , you declare: "Father, I thank You for Your protection over my son, my daughter, my brother… and I cancel every plan of the enemy against him/her and his/her activities, and I cover him/her with the Blood of Jesus."
Before going to sleep: "Father, I thank You for all Your blessings and protection over our family today and this night I cover my entire family with the Blood of Jesus, along with all their possessions, in the name of Jesus! Amen."
