EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“for God it is who is working in you both to will and to work for His good pleasure. that ye may become blameless and harmless, children of God, unblemished in the midst of a generation crooked and perverse, among whom ye do appear as luminaries in the world,”
Philippians 2:13, 15 YLT98
CHRISTIAN REALITY #6
You are called to be a source of life in the world. It is written: “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4 NIV. During His earthly ministry, the Lord Jesus Christ provided the solution to all situations of human suffering. Today more than ever, this suffering is present, and our duty, you and I, is to deliver our neighbors from oppression.
Not every well-dressed person is without problems. You'll be surprised when you dare to approach your neighbor with these words: "Hello, sir or madam, do you have a situation in which you want God to intervene? I am a Christian, and I want to pray for you!" Let them speak for a bit, then tell them about what the Lord has accomplished in your life, and then pray for the situation. (The Holy Spirit will put the right words in your mouth.)
Today's verse disarms you of all laziness because if you see suffering, it is God who has opened your eyes and wants to use you for His glory.
So, to do this, you must stop focusing on yourself and instead recognize that the One who is in you is greater and more powerful than the One who is in the world, and that you can do all things through Christ in you, who continually strengthens you.
Jesus’ beloved !
