EXHORTATION through THE BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on
“But what doth it say? ‘Nigh thee is the saying — in thy mouth, and in thy heart:’ that is, the saying of the faith, that we preach; for with the heart doth [one] believe to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation;”
Romans 10:8, 10 YLT98
CHRISTIAN REALITY #5
Let me tell you something about faith: You cannot have faith without proclaiming it. As you study chapter 10 of the Epistle to the Romans, you will notice that it says, “The righteousness that is by the law… But the righteousness that is by faith declares.” The law is about action, while faith is about declaration. Therefore, it is not enough to simply know intellectually that you are righteous. It is not enough to read this chapter of Romans or listen to a sermon about God’s righteousness and mentally accept this idea.
This is how many Christians miss out on Abraham’s blessing. They do not proclaim their righteousness in God through faith. They proclaim what they see and what they feel (sickness, lack, fear, etc.). Know that you must open your mouth each day and declare by faith, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ” (2 Corinthians 5:21). You cannot simply know that you are righteous; you must also believe and proclaim your righteous position in Christ. Faith is only effective when it is proclaimed.
Your first reaction to a difficult situation is crucial. Whether it's a symptom, bad news, or a trial, your first reaction should always be to declare: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and the righteousness of God has delivered me from the law of sin and death, and I triumph over this situation because the One who is in me is greater and more powerful than….” Paul says, “Since we have the same spirit of faith, as it is written: ‘I believed, therefore I proclaimed it,’ we also believe, and therefore we ought to speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13).
Let's put this into practice for the Body in our daily lives:
“I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ, and the righteousness of God has delivered me from death, so I command every sickness to leave my body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus!”
Father, I consecrate to You my spirit, my soul, and my body as a living sacrifice, and I release the Holy Spirit into every organ of my body to give them life in the name of Jesus.
Jesus’ beloved !
I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ... AMEN &AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
