Christian life
EXHORTATION through the Book of Life
Scripture to ponder on:
“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
I Thessalonians 5:23 NKJV
THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IN THE WORLD
The Christian life is easy when we know our identity and its benefits, because ignorance and false beliefs have done enormous damage. And it is time to wake up and become aware of your identity and enter into the active life of ambassador that has been provided for you by the death and resurrection of the author and finisher of your faith (Colossians 2:15 / Hebrews 12:2).
Today's verse demonstrates God's unconditional love, which has reconciled us to Himself (2 Corinthians 5:18-19), and the Apostle Paul tells us, “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. The life I now live is by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me.” “Given up to death in my place.” Galatians 2:20
Before Adam’s fall, he had access to the spiritual realm to communicate with God, and from his spirit he instructed his senses (soul), and then his body followed. But as soon as he surrendered to Satan, his spirit became subservient to Satan, his soul became subject to the environment, and his body began to age.
Thus, a Christian is one who has become a child of God and in whom the Spirit of God dwells (Galatians 4:5-6), and the Holy Spirit is the eternal guarantee that God has placed in each of us (2 Corinthians 1:22). Our duty is to nourish the Holy Spirit with the Word through meditation, declaring what it reveals about our identity daily, and "For we who live are constantly being subjected to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal body" (2 Corinthians 4:11). Therefore, the life of Jesus must be manifested in your spirit in order to dominate your soul, and your body will follow.
Here is a concrete example: Upon waking declare: Holy Spirit, I know that you dwell in me; I submit to you in all my activities. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus; my life is hidden in Christ in God. The one who is in me is greater than the one who is in the world, and when you have a problem, ask Him, for in Him dwells all wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:30). And throughout the day, thank the Holy Spirit for being with you.
Jesus’ beloved !
AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
