Be established in God’s righteousness
EXHORTATION through the BOOK OF LIFE
Scripture to ponder on:
“In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression, for thou shalt not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near thee.”
Isaiah 54:14 ASV
BE ESTABLISHED IN GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS
Beloved, it is vital that you, as a Christian, be established in what the Lord Jesus has accomplished for you so that you may cease to be prey to Satan.
Following the prophecy of the triumph of the Lord Jesus in Isaiah 53, the same prophet continues in Isaiah 54, highlighting the benefits for those who have believed and received the revelation from the hand of the Lord.
When on the cross the Lord Jesus cried out, “When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, ‘It is finished.’ And bowing his head, he gave up his spirit.” (John 19:30)
Jesus is the Word who created all things. (John 1:1-5) To demonstrate His love for you, the Father sent Him to pay the debt of your sins once and for all. And when He said, “It is finished,” He was confirming Isaiah 55:10-11: “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:10-11)
After His ascension, the Holy Spirit came to dwell in you to make you more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37), and it is through your words that you are established in your identity.
Now memorize this declaration: “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and God’ righteousness has delivered me from death.” God sees you in Jesus Christ, and every time you make this declaration, whatever your circumstances, you activate God’s power in your favor to deliver you and also to circumcise your heart from all iniquity. No weapon formed against you will prosper, and you will condemn every tongue that rises up against you in judgment, for you are righteous before God.
It is in applying the revelation contained in this exhortation that you will be established in your identity. (Read these passages in your Bible.)
Jesus’ beloved !
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and God's righteousness has delivered me from death, in Jesus Mighty Name, AMEN & AMEN 🙏🏾🙏🏾!!
