EXHORTATION according to the BOOK of LIFE

“And Joshua commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor let your voice be heard, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.”

             👄 ANNOUNCING THE WONDERFUL THINGS OF GOD 👄

Beloved, the Bible says: "We all stumble over and over again. If someone does not stumble in words, he is a perfect man, capable of holding his whole body in bridles.” (James 3:2) Do you see? Your perfection, self-control, is linked to the word that comes out of your mouth in any situation. And in faith, the principle is the same. As a Christian, you must always speak out what the word of God says and not what you see or feel.

It is written: "So watch carefully how you behave: that it is not like fools, but like wise people. Don't get drunk on wine: it leads to debauchery. On the contrary, be filled by the Spirit; speak to yourself in hymns and spiritual songs; sing and celebrate the Lord with all your heart;" (Ephesians 5:15, 18-19)

In the verse of the day, we have Joshua's instructions before the people in front of the wall of Jericho. He told them to walk around the wall for six days during which only the priests had the right to play the ram’s horn in front of the ark. The rest of the people must have their mouths shut during the march.

In the Jewish culture the ram's horn is a symbol of the death of the ram as sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins and only the priests had the right to blow it for proclamation.

Who is your ram today? Jesus Christ who by His death and Resurrection saved you and baptized you in God with the Holy Spirit. So while you wait for the answer to your prayer, you must speak in tongues. Worship and praise your heavenly Father. And if you have not yet received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, ask your heavenly Father to baptize you with the Holy Spirit and begin to proclaim the death and resurrection of your Savior today (Acts 2:11/ 2 Corinthians 14:2)
